eLRoy Blue is a continuation and rebirth of the acclaimed Manitoba ensemble The Ministers of Cool. Merging jazz, rock, Latin and pop influences, eLRoy Blue brings together a collective of seasoned musicians into one unforgettable live show.
Led by guitarist and arranger Larry Roy and Leonard Shaw on keyboards and lead vocals, the group also features many of Canada’s finest musicians including Daniel Roy on drums, and Don Benedictson on bass – with the powerful vocal harmonies of Erin Propp and Karly Epp on vocals.
eLRoy Blue has been known to perform a wide range of themed concerts, from the catalogue of Steely Dan to the Latin-rock rhythms of Santana, often joined by acclaimed guest artists. Their performances have been featured at prestigious venues and festivals across Canada including Jazz Winnipeg’s Jazz at the Fort Garry Hotel concert series, Festival du Voyageur, Falcon Lake’s Beaver Days Festival, and the CCFM Summer Bash.
